DAY 1: Arrival in Kenya – Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Your luxury Kenya safari begins with a warm welcome in Nairobi by your professional safari guide. After a short safari briefing, depart Nairobi and travel south towards Amboseli National Park.

As you approach Amboseli, the landscape changes dramatically from Nairobi's urban surroundings to open savannah, acacia woodland and traditional Maasai country.

Amboseli is particularly famous for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain. Kenya Wildlife Service identifies big-game viewing, the Kilimanjaro backdrop, the Amboseli basin, birdlife, Observation Hill and Maasai culture among the park's major attractions.

DAY 2: Full-Day Amboseli National Park Safari

Wake early for a spectacular sunrise game drive in Amboseli, one of the best times to photograph wildlife and, when weather conditions are favorable, Mount Kilimanjaro.

Amboseli is renowned for its elephant population, and the morning drive offers excellent opportunities to observe elephants moving across the open plains.

Continue your game drive through the park in search of the Big Five and other wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, hippos, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and hyenas.

Return to the lodge for breakfast and some time to relax.

After lunch, continue with an afternoon safari. You may also visit Observation Hill, offering panoramic views over the Amboseli ecosystem.

An optional Maasai cultural experience can be arranged, giving you an opportunity to learn about local traditions, community life, dances and the relationship between the Maasai people and the surrounding wildlife.

DAY 3: Amboseli – Nairobi

Enjoy breakfast at your lodge before departing Amboseli for Nairobi.

Depending on your departure time, you may enjoy a short final game drive before leaving the park.

Drive back towards Nairobi, arriving around lunchtime or early afternoon.

After lunch, enjoy a relaxed afternoon in Nairobi.

DAY 4: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast, depart Nairobi and travel north towards the dramatic landscapes of northern Kenya.

The journey to Samburu National Reserve provides a fascinating transition from the highlands around Nairobi to the drier and more rugged northern landscape.

Arrive at your luxury Samburu lodge in time for lunch.

After lunch and a short rest, head out for your first Samburu afternoon game drive.

Samburu is famous for its distinctive special 5 wildlife and arid scenery. Look out for species associated with northern Kenya, including:

Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation.

After lunch, embark on another afternoon game drive.

For a more immersive experience, an optional Samburu cultural visit can be arranged. Meet members of the Samburu community and learn about their traditional lifestyle, culture, livestock practices and relationship with the environ y6ment.

DAY 6: Samburu – Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast, depart Samburu and drive south towards Ol Pejeta Conservancy in the Laikipia region.

The journey takes you through changing landscapes, farming areas, Mount Kenya scenery and the wildlife-rich Laikipia ecosystem.

Arrive at your luxury accommodation for lunch.

In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

Ol Pejeta is particularly significant for rhino conservation and offers Big Five wildlife viewing as well as conservation-focused experiences. The conservancy is also home to the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary and the only 2 remaining northern white rhnos on earth..Najin and her daughter Fatu .

Depart the Maasai Mara after breakfast and drive to Nairobi.

Enjoy lunch in Nairobi before being transferred to the airport for your onward international flight.

Option 2 – Scenic Flight

For a truly luxurious ending to your safari, take a scheduled or private flight from a Mara airstrip to Nairobi.

This option significantly reduces travel time and provides spectacular aerial views of the Kenyan landscape.

Your driver or representative will meet you in Nairobi for your airport transfer if required.
